David E. Edman

David Edman is the Managing Partner of RMP. David has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, since receiving an MBA in Health Services Management from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1978. His undergraduate degree is in economics, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has worked in healthcare consulting, operational, and entrepreneurial settings (see Resume for more detail). David is a Senior Scholar in the Department of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University, chairs the Health Care Task Force for the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and is involved in a number of other communal organizations.

Leslie D. Miller

Leslie joined Risk Management Partners LLC in June 2008 and is responsible for business development. She is a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina, where she majored in English and minored in International Studies. Prior to RMP, Leslie worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years, first for Warner-Lambert and then for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where she focused on cardiovascular and women’s health issues. She previously worked in the hospitality industry in Philadelphia and in North Carolina. Leslie is involved with multiple Chambers of Commerce, the Wayne Rotary, and a volunteer with the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Throughout her career, Leslie has been recognized for her superior performance, leadership, and commitment to serving clients.

Richard L. Garecht

Rick is an Associate at RMP, responsible for working with current and future clients to address their health benefit needs. He is a graduate of Delaware County Community College with a degree in communications. In the early years of his career, Rick worked as a teacher. In a consumer driven healthcare world, it is critically important for our clients’ beneficiaries to be educated consumers, and Rick uses his communications skills to solve client problems, distribute educational information, and provide other support services.

Jon E. McLaughlin

Jon McLaughlin and David M. Banet & Associates, Inc. in Exton, PA provide brokerage assistance and support services to RMP clients. Jon has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, first with Travelers Insurance Company and then with Comprehensive Benefits. He was also an Assistant Claims Manager for Principal Financial Group for 10 years. Jon is an Account Manager with Banet & Associates and oversees the Brokerage Department. Jon holds a Producer's License in Life, Accident and Health from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Eileen Bortner, OTR/L

Eileen is the Director of Health Education for RMP and owner of “Integrated Fitness Programs,” a business dedicated to healthy aging. Educated as an occupational therapist and health administrator, Eileen has been providing health related services to the community for more than twenty years. She has experience in pediatrics and adult medicine as it pertains to rehabilitation, and continues to stay active in the field. Eileen has also been certified by the National Arthritis Foundation. Current activities include direct programs of physical fitness, as well as speaking engagements on the related issues to corporate, academic and nonprofit organizations.
