    Welcome Message from David Edman

David Edman"If You Fix Healthcare for Small Business, You Fix It for America." That's the theme of this month's newsletter and the title of a recent panel discussion sponsored by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). It was NFIB's Small Business Day at the State Capitol in Harrisburg, a day when business owners from around the Commonwealth gathered to learn and to lobby elected representatives on improving the business climate in Pennsylvania.

As moderator of the panel discussion, I gained further insight into the healthcare issues that today's small businesses are facing. Give me a call at 610-975-4415 or email me if you want to discuss how to "fix" healthcare for your business, or for America.

Health Tip
Stay Hydrated This Summer.  It bears repeating, that being hydrated in summer is important, and water is best. Drink before you feel thirsty, especially if you're about to exercise or exert yourself. Drinks with extra vitamins are fine, but watch out for their sugar content (posted on the label). Lastly, coffee and tea and soft drinks with caffeine don't count – they're diuretics and actually deplete your fluids. Not all drinks are equal – look to Mother Nature to get the real thing.
